About Me

Salut! I’m Nikki, a former French Immersion teacher with a passion for children’s education and assisting French educators in their teaching journey. I started Mme Carter’s Classroom because there was a lack of resources that were perfect for my combined primary French Immersion class. And almost nothing was differentiated.

I had students in my classroom who needed additional support in French, and I needed comprehensive resources to make my planning quick and efficient. I now create resources to fill in those aforementioned gaps and help students learn and succeed. 

I believe that through differentiation and engaging activities, learning a second language can be fun for all learners!  

As a Black educator, representation is important to me, and it matters to children too. I love to make diverse and differentiated content for teachers like you!  

I aim to support French teachers with quality resources they can use in their primary and junior classrooms. I provide instructional tips and resources that are accessible and valuable for teachers everywhere.
